Becky Schmitt is the Senior Vice President and Chief People Lead of Sam’s Club U.S. Business. She drives direction and leadership in the areas of talent development and culture, digital transformation and organizational design.

Becky has more than 20 years of experience in designing and delivering human resource solutions. Prior to joining Sam's Club, she worked for Walmart as Vice President of HR for technology and was later promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief People Lead of U.S. eCommerce and Corporate Functions. Before joining Walmart, Becky served as Accenture’s North American HR Service Delivery Lead, where she was responsible for all stages of the employee lifecycle for 47,000 employees in over 58 locations. During her time at there, Becky was responsible for SAP Practice, Asia Pacific Communications, High Tech Industry and the company’s India delivery centers based in Bangalore.

Earlier in her career, Becky held HR roles in Detroit spanning from local campus recruiting and supply and demand management to key executive support with global responsibility in leadership development and diversity programs. She received her BA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and currently serves as a Board Member at Large for the Girl Scouts of America.
