Monique Picou is senior vice president and chief strategy and supply chain officer for Sam’s Club. In this role, Monique is responsible for the holistic strategy for the warehouse retailer as well as the flow of merchandise from supplier to member.
Monique joined Walmart in 2018, and she spent two years in the Walmart U.S. Supply Chain organization, where she was responsible for overall flow of merchandise as well as the operations of the fashion, imports and reverse logistics networks.
A proactive proponent of diversity and inclusion, Monique emphasizes the importance of women in Supply Chain as the leader and creator of a robust plan to support and develop women within the company.
Monique has more than 25 years of experience and is a proven global leader, having served in leadership roles in both developed and developing countries. Prior to joining Walmart, Monique led multiple segments working across various business units within Procter & Gamble’s Product Supply organization.
Monique is currently on the College of Business Advisory Board at Florida Institute of Technology. Previously, Monique sat on the Board of Directors for United Way, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, GS1 UK, and the Cranfield University Advisory Board. She was a state-appointed Board Director for Workforce Development and Families with Dependence and a member of the State Economic Development Board.
Monique holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology.
