Sam’s Club is helping parents and students alike prepare for the Fall semester by hosting free health screenings this Saturday, July 14, offering immunizations and providing items for dorm décor.
The free health screenings are available this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to anyone 18 years and older and include blood pressure, body fat percentage, blood glucose levels, cholesterol (total and HDL), and in select clubs, vision and hearing.
Many students heading to college should consider and may be required to get one or more of the following immunizations, all available at most Sam’s Club Pharmacy locations.
- Meningitis vaccine: Young adults in dormitory-like spaces are at higher risk for meningitis
- Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough)
- Seasonal flu vaccine available in August
Sam’s Club can also help students get the items they need for their dorms. Some of the items that members love most this Back to College season are the licensed throw with their favorite NCAA team represented, the Artic Zone backpack cooler, the Brooklyn Loom washed soft linen throw, the Serta Morgan Convertible Sofa and the Tramontina Compact Refrigerator.
