How does Scan & Go work?
It’s as easy as 1-2-3.
2. Scan the UPC barcode on your items as you shop in-club and checkout directly on the Sam’s Club app.
3. When you’ve purchased all your soap, toilet paper, and sourdough starter ingredients, simply show your digital receipt to the associate at the door and head out!

Scan & Go saves time
Scan & Go allows you to get in and out with limited interaction with associates or other members. It’s as simple as scanning the items with your phone, adding them to your cart, paying for the items in the app, and heading out the door. You may not beat Usain Bolt’s record shopping time of under 3 minutes, but you will be able to cut the overall time that you’re spending in-club.
Scan & Go helps you say goodbye to lines…
With the ability to pay right on your phone, you can skip the checkout line altogether. This means less time spent in the club or waiting in lines.

Worried about how you’re going to purchase that well-earned bottle of wine? We’ve got you covered. You’re now able to purchase alcohol through Scan & Go, where allowed by state law. Just have your ID ready to show one of our greeters at the exit, click ‘pay’, and enjoy responsibly at home.

Now, more than ever, we know that every penny counts. With Scan & Go’s built-in budgeting tool, you’re able to keep track of how much you’re spending while you’re shopping. No surprises, just savings.
