Rewarding our Sam’s Club family
Since the beginning of this pandemic, I’ve been so proud to see how you have taken care of each other and our members. These are extraordinary times, and you’ve pulled together in extraordinary ways. I have seen the way you have cared for each other and our members when I visit clubs, in the letters I receive from our members and even in the posts you write on Workplace.
That care is what makes Sam’s Club such a special place to work and shop. Keep it up.
Throughout the pandemic, your safety and well-being has remained our top priority, and we’ve worked especially hard to take care of our frontline associates. Today, I’m excited to announce that we’re rewarding our associates again.
We are so grateful for the work you’ve done, and that’s why we’re announcing a third special bonus. All field and hourly Sam’s Club associates in clubs and our supply chain facilities are getting a bonus. And I mean everyone: The shipping associates in our fulfillment centers who make sure our members get the items they order. The pharmacists who help our members get their prescriptions. The cart pushers who keep our lots clean. The club managers and general managers who have led with their hearts and persevered through everything 2020 has thrown at them.
As with the previous two bonuses, full-time hourly associates will receive $300 and part-time hourly associates will receive $150. Club assistant managers also will receive a bonus.
We also want to recognize our club managers for their dedication and resilience with a first-half bonus. This is our way to say thank you.
Associates must be with company as of July 31 to be eligible, and the special award will pay out on the Aug. 20 paycheck.
Thank you for everything you are doing and will continue to do to take care of our members and each other. I am so proud of what we have achieved together and want you to know your hard work, dedication and member service does not go unnoticed. Thank you for what you are doing to care of each other and our members.
