Best Customer Satisfaction with Mass Merchandiser Pharmacies, 6 Years in a Row

BENTONVILLE, Ark., Aug. 10, 2021 – Sam’s Club ranks highest in Customer Satisfaction with Mass Merchandiser Pharmacies for the sixth consecutive year, according to the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Pharmacy StudySM.

The study, now in its 13th year, is based on responses from 12,646 pharmacy customers who filled a prescription within three months prior to the survey period of September 2020 through May 2021. The study found Sam’s Club to have the highest level of overall satisfaction among brick-and-mortar mass merchandiser pharmacies, with a score of 891.

According to the study, the key driver of overall customer satisfaction is the availability of health and wellness services. 61% of retail pharmacy customers used health and wellness services during the past year. In addition to its robust RxSavings program where all members have access to discounted prescriptions, Sam’s Club also has Optical Centers and Hearing Aid centers in the majority of its nearly 600 locations.
