A Few of My Favorite Things: November

By Megan Crozier, Chief Merchant, Sam’s Club

Nov. 24, 2020

Break out those ugly Christmas sweaters, get that wish list ready, and dust off those old family recipes. It’s that time of year – we’ve officially entered the season of giving.

While this year may look a bit different, there’s always room to make every occasion special by celebrating loved ones, establishing new traditions and creating lifelong memories.

We’ve got ways to help you do just that! Take a look at some of my favorite items I’m especially loving for November… and no, it’s not raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens.

Cello Cheese Flight Trio: $7.48

It’s hard to beat a charcuterie board filled with amazing meats, fruit and cheeses. It’s an impressive looking crowd-pleaser, and it’s even more impressive if you can pronounce charcuterie properly. We’re making it super easy for our members this year with a flight of cheeses to fill your board and appeal to every palette. This trio includes Copper Kettle Parmesan, Altu Alpine and Tuscan Rubbed Fontal. I’m here for this one!

Marifano Mediterranean Antipasti Medley Platter: $15.98

This medley of antipasti is super delicious and an easy way make a big impression. With six Mediterranean-inspired selections like marinated artichokes, feta salad and red sweet peppers stuffed with cheese, this product does all the work for you. I highly recommend buying two – one to serve and one to keep in the fridge just for you! Or three, or four…

Member’s Mark Holiday Pumpkin Pie: $5.98

Does any dessert feel like Thanksgiving more than a pumpkin pie? This classic is a huge hit at my home and one of our bestsellers during the holidays. The quality is amazing, the value is on point, and the flavors deliver. At 12 inches, there’s definitely enough pumpkin for everyone to have a slice.

Member’s Mark Holiday Sides: $4.98-$5.98

While the turkey may be considered the hero of the holiday table, I love the variety and flavors of the sides. This year we’re offering the classics in smaller serving sizes for four (for smaller gatherings our members have planned), like sweet potatoes with cinnamon butter, green beans with garlic butter, and more. Prep them and present them on your favorite platters. You’re going to love these!

10-inch Holiday Plates: $8.68

Mom confession. Being stuck in the kitchen doing dishes while everyone enjoys holiday seconds or dessert is not where I want to be. That’s why I love these paper holiday plates. Not only do they add a pop of Christmas color to your table, but also they take the stress out of clean up. And at only $8.68 for 90, that’s a value that’s hard to pass up.

Fam Jam Family Sleep: $10.98-$19.98

This is what family is all about. I mean how often can you get away with matching pajamas? I love this festive sleepwear (which doubles as loungewear in my house this time of year). They’re not only adorable, but also they’re incredibly comfortable and easy to maintain. A great buy for everyone in your family!

Aura Mason Smart Digital Photo Frame: $189

If you’re like me, your phone is more like a scrapbook of photos that most people never see. Until now. I’m obsessed with this Aura Mason Smart Digital Photo Frame that lets anyone in your family digitally load images directly into the frame. Several people on my list will be receiving this one!

Arts Essential Kit: $29.98

There’s nothing like a blank piece of paper and the possibilities of creating. This Arts Essential Kit has 200 pieces of quality artist materials including oils, colored pencils, watercolors, charcoals and so much more. Awaken your inner Van Gogh for under $30!
